PS40 Danial Thain arrived at its new home base at ECA Maritime College, on site at Rivergate Marina & Shipyard, Brisbane, where it will be used as a training vessel for the next generation of crew and for charter so students can ‘learn and earn’.

Rivergate Marina & Shipyard in Brisbane on Australia’s east coast has been commissioned to install new Triton submersibles on board a significant expedition superyacht, planning a global itinerary with owners who are keen divers, intent on exploring deeper than humanly possible with scuba alone.

Supermaxi relies on Rivergate

Comanche, the sleek high-tech 100-foot super maxi owned by Netscape founder, Jim Clark and his Australian wife Kristy Hinze Clark, is once again in Australia, undertaking maintenance at Rivergate Marina & Shipyard ahead of taking part in the 73rd Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, which starts Boxing Day, 26 December.

Satisified superyacht extends its stay

The 46-metre (149.93ft) ruby-hulled MY QING has been at Rivergate Marina & Shipyard in Brisbane since March, undergoing scheduled maintenance for her 5-year Lloyds survey, plus wide-ranging precision refit works to equip her for global expedition cruising.
