The new Summer Edition builds on this platform, with adjustments to enhance its seasonal appeal.
“The CX240 Summer Edition echoes the whitewashed architecture that overlooks the Mediterranean, where the traditional use of white reflects skilful use of local materials, from lime to natural white stone, which reflect the light and evoke the vivid emotions of summer,” says Valentina Procopio, head of marketing.
“It’s a colour that evokes a precise architectural style while also offering practical benefits for comfort and livability.
“White reflects sunlight, reducing heat and making spaces feel larger. In this way, the CX240 Summer Edition becomes the embodiment of the colour it wears: a symbol of lightness, freedom, and relaxation.
“[It’s] a tribute to Mediterranean hues and a declaration of love for a lifestyle shaped by sun and sea.”
Below deck, the cabin offers a double berth, with the wide beam used to maximise the available space. A compact toilet compartment can be added on request, with the WC stowed in a dedicated compartment. A storage unit is positioned to the left of the ladder leading below. The space benefits from natural lighting thanks to elongated side windows that contribute to a more open feel and maintain a connection to the exterior.
The helm is vertically configured to improve ergonomic control. A retractable canopy offers sun protection over the central living space, which is laid out around a midship dinette. In addition, the stand-up helm seat is designed to convert and extend this aft dinette when required.
The use of white throughout the cockpit replaces the model’s traditional ivory and cognac tones, with only the upholstery retaining accents of cognac. The console also features sunset gold paintwork with additional cognac detailing.
Capoforte says the CX240 Summer Edition is aimed at a broad audience, including individuals new to boating, families looking for a leisure vessel, and experienced boaters seeking a compact model for daytime fishing or coastal trips.
