Tankoa enters the sport yacht sector with the launch of M/Y Rose, the first 55-metre T55 Sportiva, starring an underwater lounge.

Tankoa Yachts has launched M/Y Rose, the first hull of the Tankoa T55 Sportiva, which was initially presented in June 2021. The 55-metre yacht is the first in a new series designed in collaboration with Luca Dini Design & Architecture and represents the Italian shipyard’s move into the sport yacht segment.
Sold in January 2022, M/Y Rose was technically launched on Monday, 14 April 2025 and is now undergoing final outfitting ahead of delivery. The yacht features exterior styling by Luca Dini Design & Architecture and interiors by Piero Lissoni and Lissoni & Partners. The design combines aerodynamic lines and a contemporary aesthetic with bespoke interior features.
The owner, described as a young entrepreneur with long-standing ties to yachting, was closely involved in the design and construction process. Features include floor-to-ceiling glazing on both the main and upper decks to enhance natural light throughout the interior spaces.

Among the custom features is the Nemo Room, a semi-submerged lounge intended to create a closer connection with the sea. Additional exterior features include lounging areas, a beach club with a large swimming pool, and two jacuzzis: one on the owner’s terrace and a full-beam unit on the upper deck bow.
M/Y Rose will remain at the Tankoa shipyard for outfitting and sea trials ahead of its scheduled debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.

Two further hulls are under construction. One is due to launch before summer, while a third is being built on spec for delivery in 2027.
