Kurt Merki Jr. is a Swiss-Ghanaian designer, who runs his own studio in Zurich, Switzerland. He is renowned for his award-winning designs in furniture, interiors, and yachts, including the prestigious 2024 International Yacht & Aviation Award for Interior Concept Design of his groundbreaking creation of the SYMBIOSIS Yacht.

Lateral Naval Architects provides complete engineering expertise to the superyacht industry, from project conception to delivery, operation and refit. Their core competency is engineering, but their unique focus is on meaningful innovation to enable superyachts that meet the demands of today’s owners and those of the future. They believe that meaningful innovation starts with asking new questions.

For the second year, Van Berge Henegouwen (VBH) is presenting the MYS immersive experience – an engaging showcase that aligns with VBH’s philosophy of “Innovate. Integrate. Inspire”.

Visitors will have the chance to explore a 3D environment, featuring some of the most innovative yacht designs on high-definition LED screens. You can navigate through different rooms, interact with each space, and gain insights into the future of yacht design.

This experience offers a new way for yachting enthusiasts and professionals to engage with the latest innovations in superyacht interiors and exterior design.

The Yacht Design & Innovation Hub is located at Quai Chiron inside the Dockside area, the floating exhibition for superyachts and tenders.

Access is limited to Discover, Sapphire and press pass holders on Wednesday 25 September, and the general public can access from Thursday 26 September.
