A defining feature of the X Class series is the Super Flybridge, combining an enclosed helm and Skylounge with an open-air aft deck. By relocating the primary helm position, the design unlocks significantly greater volume on the main deck, enabling more flexible and expansive living spaces throughout the yacht. On the X90, this concept has been further developed to deliver even greater space and versatility.
The X90 also introduces a revolutionary new hull form for Princess: The Hybrid Progressive-Planing (H.P.P.) hull, developed in collaboration with Olesinski. This advanced design combines proven seakeeping with refined hydrodynamics to deliver enhanced efficiency, extended range, and confident performance across the speed spectrum.
Engineered to optimise performance at both low and high speeds, the H.P.P. hull enables the X90 to require approximately 10 percent less power above 16 knots compared to the Y85 (when displacements are normalised), while matching fuel consumption below 10 knots, despite being significantly larger.
Ahead of her public debut, Princess Yachts will host an exclusive preview event in London for invited guests, offering a first opportunity to experience the new X90 ahead of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Visitors to the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival will be able to see the new X90 at Jetée 114. Media are invited to attend Princess Yachts’ press call at 12:45pm on Tuesday 8 September at the JW Marriott, Cannes.
