In Spain, the Balearic Cluster hosted a vibrant program anchored by the Balearic Boating Festival 2026 at Port Adriano, a lively public celebration featuring workshops, gastronomy and interactive activities for all ages.

Across Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza, the program expanded further with guided shipyard visits at Astilleros de Mallorca and STP Shipyard Palma, a contemporary art exhibition at Club de Mar Mallorca, networking events for women in the nautical sector, sailing experiences including the Galaxie voyage, and educational initiatives opening doors to maritime careers.

Overall, World Boating Day 2026 is a flourishing global initiative, and has continued to expand its reach as a truly global moment for life on the water, reflecting a growing appetite to experience boating in more open, accessible and meaningful ways.

Speaking on this year’s edition, Dilan Sarac, Executive Director of The Superyacht Life Foundation, said: “World Boating Day is about opening up the world of boating to anyone with a connection to the water, whether through work, lifestyle or curiosity. Each year we see more communities, partners and individuals come together, and that shared energy is what drives this movement forward.”
