Horizon Yacht Australia wrapped up 2021 with record sales – $150 million in new models and millions more in Horizon brokerage vessels as owners move up in the brand.
“It has been our biggest year to date with over 14 new vessels sold, three stock boats arriving and 45 brokerage boats sold,” reports Managing Director, Mark Western, adding that an appetite for boats over the pandemic, combined with quality product formed the “perfect storm”.
What better way to satisfy demand than by showcasing three brand new FD models at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show?
The boost to sales can be largely attributed to the Horizon FD series, which “is exploding” on the Australian market, according to Mark, and the Team at Horizon Yacht Australia could not be more excited to dominate the show with world renowned FD Series designs.
“They have really struck a chord,” says Mark of the Cor D. Rover-designed series that spans 75- to 125-feet.
“We will deliver 12 FDs in 2022, which is equal to the US. Production is now booked out until early 2023.”
So, it is no surprise the FD Series will be headlining the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show this year and sales are expected to skyrocket after show goes step on board the Fast Displacement Series.
The Horizon Yacht Australia Team will showcase a Horizon FD75 Open Flybridge, Horizon FD80 Skyline (stock boat) and a Horizon FD90 Skyline.
Taking its place at the entrance of a series known for its unparalleled volume, innovative functionality and intelligent layout, the FD75 is a remarkable achievement in terms of design and naval architecture. Intended for owner/operators, the FD75 features a raised pilothouse design that accommodates both an open bridge and a lower helm area.
The FD75 is a four-stateroom yacht, which includes a full-beam, on-deck master stateroom fitted with an ensuite and walk-in closet, and three spacious staterooms comprised of a queen, double and twin on the lower deck. Accommodations for two crew members are found aft, and a beach club is optional.
The Horizon FD80 Skyline is known for its contemporary style lines, versatility of space and well-planned interior and exterior entertaining areas, which are at the heart of this latest design.
The smaller sister to the successful FD90 motor yacht, the brand-new Horizon FD80 maximizes interior volume with unique floor-to-ceiling glass sections that invite plenty of natural light and spectacular views into the salon, dining area, and on-deck master stateroom.
Below deck, three additional staterooms including two VIPs echo the feeling of spaciousness while a window in the garage extends natural light into the beach club on this level.
The FD80 offers functional outdoor spaces that rival those found on 90ft-plus motor yachts. Side wing stations allow for improved visibility while docking and the bridge deck aft is spacious enough to accommodate a 16ft tender. A truly cutting-edge motor yacht with the amenities of a megayacht, the new Horizon FD80 is the ultimate yacht for owner operators.
The most popular model in the acclaimed FD Series, the FD90 embodies the space, layout and performance that define the Fast Displacement range. Available in Semi-Open or Skyline (enclosed) bridge configurations, the FD90 features an expansive 23-feet 4-inch beam, spacious on-deck master with four guest staterooms and two crew cabins below deck, and large windows in the saloon.
A walkaround design on the bridge deck affords ease of access between the boat deck and forward seating areas, which can be customised with multiple features from refrigeration to storage, sunshades and more.
Each FD90 is equipped with a spacious beach club and swim platform aft, and, assisted by the High-Performance Piercing Bow and hull design, with high-end equipment as standard, performance is efficient and stable.
Fitted throughout with ingenious amenities and endless options for customiastion, the FD90 is quickly becoming one of the world’s most sought-after mid-range motor yachts.
The Horizon Yachts display is located on G pier of the marina. Visitors are advised to register for VIP viewing.
