Riviera hosted the world premiere of its new 6200 Sport Yacht at the 2026 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, 21 to 24 May.

According to designers, this new model marks an evolution of a design philosophy first introduced two decades ago with the groundbreaking 3600 Sport Yacht.

Launched in 2005, the original 3600 redefined the category and laid the foundation for Riviera’s acclaimed Sport Yacht Platinum Edition Collection. The new 6200 continues this legacy, delivering a bold, next-generation interpretation of single-level living, blue-water performance and effortless operation.

Riviera Australia owner Rodney Longhurst described the 6200 as “truly outstanding by any measure,” reflecting the company’s 45-year heritage and more than 6,300 handcrafted yachts launched worldwide.

At the 6200 Sport Yacht’s debut, Longhurst said the new model “embodies four essentials: timeless styling, luxurious single-level living, effortless blue-water performance and ease of operation”.

It’s a great refinement of all the sport yachts that came before it. We’ve sold around 200 of our 5400 and 170 of 6000, so this boat is coming into a high demand area for us. This model has extra power, extra luxury, extra space – it’s really quite incredible!”

A new-generation hull design unlocks exceptional space and versatility, elevating the 6200 beyond others in its class.

Entertaining is centred on an expansive alfresco aft deck featuring a fully equipped outdoor galley, generous lounge and seamless connection to the saloon. Forward, a sun deck with lounges and sunbeds offers another refined social retreat.

Inside, the saloon presents a sophisticated open-plan environment with a gourmet galley, multiple lounge zones and premium finishes throughout. Accommodation is equally impressive, with a choice of three or four staterooms, including a full-beam master suite, three ensuites, and a flexible utility or crew cabin.

The 6200 also delivers exceptional practicality, from a full-height engine room to a spacious tender garage capable of housing a 3.6-metre tender and an array of water sports equipment.

Powered by twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1200 engines, the 6200 combines strong performance with efficiency and precise joystick control. Advanced technology options include integrated camera systems, optional assisted docking, stabilisation and remote monitoring.

With its refined design, luxurious appointments and exceptional functionality, the Riviera 6200 Sport Yacht sets a compelling new benchmark in the global motor yacht market.
