The Ocean Media team attended the inaugural Sydney Boat Show in 2025 and is looking forward to this year's edition.

Organised and owned by the Boating Industry Association (BIA), the show is going from strength to strength, and this year’s edition is already fully booked.

“The second edition of the Sydney Boat Show at Sydney Olympic Park has enjoyed great support and positive response,” stated CEO of the BIA, Andrew Fielding.

“The boat show is the opportune time for our industry to come together and support local businesses and manufacturers,” he continued.

Given world events, it’s up to our industry to reinforce and amplify the positive aspects of one of Australia’s most popular activities and the benefits of the boating lifestyle. Boating and watersports in all their forms offer significant social benefits including proven well-being – there’s something for everybody and every stage of life and the Sydney Boat Show really showcases that diversity.”

Key exhibitors with products that will appeal to a broad cross section of the boating public range from Australian motor yacht manufacturers, Riviera and Maritimo, with their freshly revamped Caribbean flybridge cruisers.

The Caribbean 40F Flybridge and 27F Flybridge mark a renaissance for the proudly-Australian brand, now under Maritimo ownership, combining legendary bluewater hull designs with world-class engineering and modernised finishes.

R Marine Sydney will showcase one of Riviera’s latest and most exciting models – the Riviera 4300 Sports Express. This luxury motor yacht has been thoughtfully designed for effortless cruising and refined onboard entertaining, combining performance, comfort, and contemporary styling.

Returning in 2026, Sirocco Marine, Australia’s premier RIB dealer, will display a range of premium European-made BRIG and Sirocco RIBs, spanning the day boat and tender markets.

Liam Ohalloran, Director at Sirocco Marine South, said “We will display a large array of trailerable RIBs including stand-alone boats which are brilliant for families to get on the water, fishing, wakeboarding and enjoying the outdoors. RIBs have the advantage of being lighter, stable, rated for more people and delivering a smoother, dry ride than boats of a similar size.”

In the marine electronics segment, Aussie brand, GME will exhibit its latest range of marine comms equipment to help keep boaters safe, informed and connected.

Another Aussie brand, Floatables will whet your appetite for fun and relaxation with their premium inflatable platforms.

For capturing your next on-water adventure, or looking for a sheltered anchorage, Aeroo Drones deliver the latest in drone tech with ultra-reliability.

Authorised service and dealer for Mercury & Mercruiser, Shannon Outboard Services are returning to the show with all a diverse range of engines.

Returning this year is Transport for NSW which is the event’s official Partner in Safety who will have a significant stand shared with Marine Area Command, and Marine Rescue NSW. Transport for NSW is also supporting the event with an integrated ticket offering to allow show ticket holders to travel by train to the show free of charge.

The 2026 Sydney Boat Show will be held 30 July to 2 August at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush, 9am to 5pm daily.

General admission first release tickets are currently on sale for $11, children under 16 are free.
