Following its preview last January at Boot Düsseldorf, Pirelli has officially unveiled the Tender X460 – the latest addition to the X Line range alongside the X350, X400 and X430.

Designed by Christian Grande – among the most important contemporary designers in the international boating industry – the series, which has been developed for large yachts, draws on Pirelli’s sporting DNA, combining distinctive design, functionality and performance.

Developed by Sacs Tecnorib, a licensee of the Pirelli brands for more than 20 years, the new Pirelli Tender X460 is designed as a dedicated support vessel for yachts and superyachts over 25 metres and echoes the stylistic language of the X Line, characterised by taut, clean lines, ergonomic solutions and details that recall the racing identity of the Pirelli brand.

The large bow area is designed to provide high levels of comfort with contoured cushioning that wraps around the tube in the bow section. The side walkway facilitates movement on board between the stern and bow, improving accessibility and usability of space.

At the stern, the beach area integrates a practical footrest that increases comfort during moments of rest and conviviality.

The integrated wind-shield ensures added protection while sailing and is easily folded down to facilitate storage of the tender in the yacht’s garage. The fold-down backrest also allows the stern area to be transformed into a sun bed, expanding the boat’s possibilities of use.

The layout can accommodate up to seven people and is combined with a 170-hp BRP Rotax Jet Drive engine, which provides high performance and great manoeuvrability.

Additionally, among the model’s distinctive elements is the rubber strip that mimics the tread of the Cinturato Blue Full Wet, the wet tyre used in the top motorsport competition in which Pirelli is present as the sole supplier, a detail that reinforces the link between the tender and the brand’s sporting spirit.

Like the other X Line models, the Pirelli Tender X460 also offers numerous customisation possibilities through a range of options and accessories.

The available configurations include the Pit Lane version, featuring a full black livery with red, yellow or white details, a tribute to the colours that identify the Soft, Medium and Hard compounds used by Pirelli on race weekends.
