Uniting captains, industry leaders and special guests, the Captains of Industry Roundtable delivered a rare forum for high-level insight, refined discussion and meaningful collaboration on the issues defining the future of luxury yachting.
The much-anticipated 2025 Captains of Industry Roundtable was held on 11 November at the Australian National Maritime Museum, gathering 71 guests – superyacht captains, yacht owners, industry leaders and sponsors – for a full day of candid discussion and connection.
Hillary Buckman, Event Founder and Managing Director of Ocean Media, said the Roundtable was designed as a conversation, not a conference – a space for real voices and real issues.
“The Captains of Industry Roundtable was created as a space for genuine conversation – a chance for the people shaping our industry to come together, share ideas and talk openly about the challenges and opportunities ahead,” Buckman said. “It’s all about connection – connecting people, ideas and experience,” she added.
“The strength of our industry lies in relationships and in being willing to listen, learn and collaborate so that it evolves and strengthens and everybody, at every level, benefits.”
