Following the launch of the new MCY 70, which inaugurated the next generation of the MCY Collection at Boot Düsseldorf in January, Monte Carlo Yachts reveals the second of the three announced yachts for 2019: the MCY 66.

Staying loyal to the company’s values and iconic features, Monte Carlo Yachts’ new generation is driven by a vision focusing on the evolution of timeless elegance. With customers’ desires at heart, Monte Carlo Yachts’ awarded Naval Architecture and innovative Production Processes offer spacious interior spaces, wider views and increased exposure to natural light. The hand-made in-house manufacturing activities, celebrating the Made in Italy design, allows for extensive customisation options.

“Innovation alongside continuity is the vision behind the second generation of the MCY Collection,” says Fabrizio Iarrera, Monte Carlo Yachts’ Chief Executive. “MCY 66 together with MCY 70 and soon to follow MCY 76 display over a decade of design and manufacturing expertise and a natural evolution of the collection’s iconic characteristics.”

At 20.11 metres, the new MCY 66 represents the result of the long-lasting collaboration with the Nuvolari Lenard Design Studio. MCY Collection’s iconic structure and recognisable profile, enhanced through innovative elements and craftsmanship’s evolution, result in sleeker lines and an harmonious shape.

The bulwarks’ wide breaches enable a significant increase in terms of internal volumes and exposure to light. This is particularly highlighted on the main deck where the saloon presents an open space in between the galley aft and the living area located forward.

With the idea of offering enlarged living spaces, MCY 66’s layout allows closer interactions between internal and external areas. This is clearly visible when observing the flybridge.

Thanks to Monte Carlo Yachts’ continuous investments in research and development activities, the yacht’s upper deck has been recognised as the best in class on the market. The introduction of lateral supports and chromed stainless pillars to sustain the carbon fire T top, offers a 360° open view of the sea.

With a surface of 25.2 square-metres, the MCY 66’s enlarged living spaces allow for a fully customisable lounge area. The layout can turn into the perfect lounge and dining area served by an open-air galley for a private and elegant dining experience on board.

The MCY 66 features incredible internal spaces for a yacht in its size category. The additional bow portholes give the yacht an extended external appearance and provide higher exposure to natural light throughout the VIP cabin.

The enlarged MCY’ iconic porthole enhances the intimate and relaxing feeling of the owner cabin. The guests’ cabins with their dedicated bathrooms follow the spacious volumes common to the other areas of this new model.

The MCY 66’s unique and sophisticated modern decor is a striking feature throughout the main saloon and all the cabins. High-end fabrics, natural stones and Italian leathers are just a few of the superior materials available on this yacht. Elegant glossy marble elements enriched by a light touch of copper are key defining features of the new MCY 66 interior design. The use of reflective materials, mirrors and lacquered wood, in combination with wide

lateral windows enhance the brightness of natural light. In order to satisfy the owner’s needs and wishes, Monte Carlo Yachts offers complete customisation of all interior design and layout features.

MCY 66 together with MCY 70 will be joined by the brand new MCY 76 at Cannes Yachting Festival 2019. The official debut of the new generation will be anticipated by an exclusive private event taking place in July.

For the time being, MCY 66 and MCY 70 will be displayed together for the first time at Venice Boat Show in June.
