Nautical Nights returns
The Cairns superyacht industry gathered for the first time this year for the infamous Nautical Nights event hosted by the regional superyacht cluster.

Industry leaders and visiting superyacht crew were excited to share a cold beverage, signature appetisers and insightful conversation, compliments of the Super Yacht Group Great Barrier Reef.
“We have much to be thankful for here in Cairns,” Chairperson Kathleen Ferguson stated.
“Superyachts have everything at their fingertips – sensational unlimited cruising opportunities catering to diverse client requests, magic scenery, and fascinating under and above water worlds to explore.”
Angela Pyatt, SYGGBR Administrator, is new to the group and is enjoying her new life in the tropics fresh from the international superyachts.
As she pointed out, “Most importantly, Cairns is a safe and secure location for crew, with all the necessary refit and maintenance facilities within minutes of the CBD.”
The social and networking event was held at Salt House on the marina with waterfront views overlooking Trinity Inlet.

The Super Yacht Group Great Barrier Reef is a one-stop-shop, curating services to assist each vessel with any requirements arriving into the Cairns Marlin Marina and pointing each to the appropriate experienced local service provider.
The group sends out an invitation to all superyacht crew within Australia to join in for the next Nautical Nights event in March, and in between, for regular Captains’ Dinners and familiarisation trips.
