Following successful North Sea sea trials, Moonen Yachts’ latest 122 Martinique, Lollipop, has proven her pedigree as a refined long-range cruiser.

Moonen Yachts has completed sea trials for its latest 122 Martinique, Lollipop, with the yacht successfully tested in the challenging waters of the North Sea ahead of delivery this summer.
Marking a major milestone for the Dutch yard, the eighth hull in the acclaimed series proved her long-range cruising credentials during an intensive multi-day programme designed to assess performance, comfort and seakeeping.
Conducted over several days in demanding conditions, the trials allowed the Moonen Yachts team to validate the yacht’s performance, comfort and onboard systems across every operational parameter; and from manoeuvrability and stability to noise and vibration levels, the vessel performed beyond expectations, demonstrating the robust engineering and exceptional seakeeping qualities synonymous with the Moonen name.

“This is always one of the most rewarding stages of a build,” says Ian Vermoen, Project Manager at Moonen Yachts.

She handled the North Sea beautifully and is now fully prepared to begin her journey with her owners.”
With sea trials now successfully completed, the final outfitting and handover preparations are underway. Delivery to her owners will take place in the coming weeks, ahead of a first cruising season exploring some of Europe’s most celebrated destinations.
