The Modena-based carmaker has given all models a thorough upgrade, starting with the bestselling Ghibli, which has adopted a new range strategy and features a significant exterior restyling.
The new Ghibli as well as the Levante MY18 are now available in GranLusso and GranSport trims, previously introduced in the Quattroporte range. Ghibli and Quattroporte now feature Adaptive full LED headlights with glare free high-beam, based on Matrix technology for Ghibli, developed in collaboration with Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting, and on L-shape technology for Quattroporte. Both Maserati sedans are fitted with power-upgraded 3.0L V6 engines with the new, performance-enhancing Integrated Vehicle Control system (IVC), developed by Bosch in collaboration with Maserati.
The iconic GranTurismo and GranTurismo convertible models have received a substantial refresh, introducing an elegant and aerodynamically efficient restyling, improved ergonomics and a state-of-the art infotainment system.
The Maserati Levante S will arrive in Australia and New Zealand as a 2018 model in the fourth quarter of 2017, bringing with it a Twin Turbo V6 430 bhp engine, as well as all the enhancements for the 2018 range. The new engine enables the Levante S to blast to 100 kmh in 5.2 seconds and go on to a top speed of 264 kmh where the law permits. Pricing and specifications for the Levante S, along with the other new Levante variants, will be announced in the fourth quarter of 2017.
The 2018 Ghibli, Quattroporte, GranTurismo and GranCabrio will arrive in Australia early in the new year, which is when their respective prices and specifications will be announced.
Octo Maserati GranLusso and GranSport by Bulgari
Continuing its partnership with Maserati, Bulgari has created two new Octo Maserati watch models for official unveiling at this year’s Frankfurt show. The new Octo Maserati GranLusso and GranSport by Bulgari are an exclusive range reserved for Maserati owners.
They feature displays with retrograde minutes and jumping hours, giving a spectacular dial effect intended to recall the rev counter of a real Maserati, along with a topstitched leather strap reminiscent of Maserati upholstery.
