Monte Carlo Yachts has announced that, alongside a series of customised yachts being delivered across the globe, their flagship MCY 105 is on its way to Australia for the first time.
Set for a delivery in the second half of 2021, this Australia-first MCY 105 unit will find its home in Rose Bay Marina, located within Sydney Harbour.
The possibility of meeting the parameters set by the Australian owner, which included delivery before the Australian season’s commencement without compromising the desired design, were crucial to close the deal, said Monte Carlo Yachts in a statement.
“The company is excited about this unique event as it is the first time the Monte Carlo Yachts flagship will reach Australia,” added Monte Carlo Yachts’ Sales and Marketing Director Sergio Loiacono.
“The shipyard has been able to accomplish this ambitious goal thanks to a proven capability to constantly meet the customer’s expectations in terms of levels of customisation and delivery time.”
“We are excited to have the flagship of the MCY range scheduled for delivery this summer to the Rose Bay Marina, NSW,” said The Boutique Boat Company’s Manager – Eastern Region, Damien Johnson.
The Boutique Boat Company was the broker behind this Australian-first deal.
Johnson added, “Given the current COVID climate, the sales process needed to be adapted to the restrictions but the shipyard were fantastic to deal with in their ability to totally custom the vessel to the client’s requirements and meet the desired delivery time.”
“The Boutique Boat Company has had a strong start to the year with a number of new projects and key brokerages delivered or scheduled to be delivered throughout the year, including the MCY 105.”
In addition to Australia, custom-made Monte Carlo Yachts are set to be delivered to the Mediterranean, the Great Lakes of North America as well as an MCY 70 Skylounge set for a client based in Hong Kong.
Founded in late 2008, Monte Carlo Yachts is an Italian-based manufacturer of luxury yachts; their shipyard is based in the Gulf of Trieste. The brand is owned by Bénéteau Group.
