“Sailing today means protecting tomorrow,” said Bruno Thivoyon, Groupe Beneteau’s CEO.
The B-Sustainable 2024 results indicate concrete progress for the customer experience.
Launched in 2022, the B-Sustainable program is based on three pillars: growing up ethically, acting as a crew and preserving the oceans.
The main results for 2024 illustrate the momentum of continuous transformation driven by the Group’s teams: reducing carbon emissions, increasing the use of sustainable materials, innovating to serve customer needs, raising employee awareness and promoting diversity.
As testament to Groupe Beneteau’s ambition to be a benchmark player in sustainable and accessible yachting, even in a more demanding economic context.
“The pleasure of sailing can no longer ignore environmental issues – we need to combine emotion, innovation and responsibility,” stated Gianguido Girotti, Groupe Beneteau’s Deputy CEO and Chief Executive Officer of its Boat division.
In terms of Ethical Growth, Beneteau stated it has “opted for a sustainable, responsible business model that is exemplary over the long term and reflects the values of our Group. Our aim is to maintain a balanced relationship with our stakeholders.”
Engaged Crew entails “moving forward collectively and develop a corporate project that is inspiring, egalitarian and reassuring for the talents of today and tomorrow, united in their diversity throughout the world.”
Preserved Oceans – Preserving the oceans means “We want to reduce our environmental impact and strengthen our contribution to the fight against global warming. Together with all sea lovers, we want to contribute to the challenge of protecting the oceans, the blue lungs of our planet.”
Bruno Thivoyon, CEO added, “Since 2022, Groupe Beneteau has accelerated its CSR approach, which has been underway for over 10 years. Collectively, we are committed to reducing our C02 emissions intensity by 30 percent by 2030.”
