Ultima impresses

Sunreef Yachts hosted the world premiere of the 55 ULTIMA among its stellar line-up at the 2025 edition of the Dubai International Boat Show, 19 to 23 February.

Polish brand, Sunreef launched the 55 ULTIMA at this year’s DIBS. With minimised energy consumption, this luxury hybrid yacht offers a perfect blend of speed, stability, and luxury. Sunreef 55 ULTIMA’s standout features include a walkaround deck, a vast semi-open saloon, and spacious aft with two-fold-down bulwark platforms.

Sunreef Yachts newly established shipyard in Ras Al Khaimah launched the first ever Sunreef 55 ULTIMA 11 February ahead of the Dubai show.

Promising the “thrill, luxury, and supreme comfort of an electric catamaran”, the 55 ULTIMA features semi-open dining area, vast alfresco lounging areas, safe sea stairs, smart storage for watertoys, folding bulwark platforms, non-toxic bottom paint and ultra-light, thin and flexible solar panels.

According to the builder, ultra-efficient batteries are as much as 30 percent lighter than the systems generally used in yacht application.

In 2022, Sunreef Yachts established its presence in the UAE in 2022 with a state-of-the-art facility in Ras Al Khaimah Maritime City. The 65,000-square-metre shipyard incorporates cutting-edge technology to produce eco-friendly, high-performance catamarans.

The Ras Al Khaimah facility was officially inaugurated 4 March 2024, by His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, with former Polish President and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate HE Lech Wałęsa as the guest of honour.
