In the wake of the record sale of a $50 million 2022 Sanlorenzo SL44 Alloy tri-deck superyacht last year, Ray White Marine has sold Hull #29 of the popular Ferretti Yachts 920 range to an Australian client.
Ferretti Yachts 920 is a maxi flybridge with imposing, dynamic lines, a range of spacious areas for relaxation and sophisticated interior furnishings. Such features make it one of a kind in its sub-30-metre LOA category.
Fitted with MTU 12V 2000 engines rated at 1,948 hp each, the five-cabin flybridge will be fully customised for the harsh Australian coastal conditions. Delivery is due in 2023.
“We are very pleased with the new 920 order, after having our most successful run of new boat sales across the whole Ferretti Group range in 2021. It has been the busiest summer season on record in our region,” said Sales Director Brock Rodwell.
The vessel will be privately owned. Her experienced owners had previously enjoyed 60-footers and were now seeking to move up to a larger motor yacht with more space for friends and family, amenities for long-range cruising and dedicated crew set up.
The new owners were attracted to the Ferretti Yachts brand and the 920 model in particular for the volume and features.
As Brock explains, “The 920 boasts class-leading volume and a main deck master cabin, with four cabins below. I showed the owner aboard the 850 in Sydney and he was impressed with the finish and quality. He also liked that it had Category A RINA class.”
Designed for coastal cruising, the vessel will be fitted with extra davits for tender launching, electric windows and sliding doors to saloon and galley, for separation of crew and guests, and the interiors will be totally custom decorated with Italian furniture.
The client has also added extra stabilisation for comfort while cruising and at anchor.
This will be the largest Ferretti Yacht sold into the country since Ray White Marine took on the Italian Ferretti Group brands for Australia and New Zealand as exclusive distributors in 2015.
