Riviera has announced Scott Dillon as the new dealer principal of the R Marine Pittwater dealership. Scott comes with the unique combination of a strong boating heritage and customer service background.

In the 80s, Lee Dillon, Scott’s father, ran a Riviera dealership at Rushcutter’s Bay, where he sold hundreds of Riviera boats into the booming local market. Through constant feedback back to the factory, Lee helped bring some innovative production values to Riviera boats.

In addition, Scott has spent years in client-facing roles, most recently as a Property Consultant at LJ Hooker and then previously in Sales and Customer Support for LDM Riviera, giving him specific experience in working with clients on boat brokerage and maintenance.

Through his passion for boating, Dillon has remained in close contact with many Riviera owners since the family-owned and operated LDM Riviera was sold in 2013.

“Riviera is admired on the world stage for the loyalty of its family of owners and many are moored in close proximity to our dealership as they just love exploring the sheltered cruising grounds of Broken Bay, the Hawkesbury and Pittwater, and the ability to easily cruise south to Sydney Harbour of north to Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and Port Stephens,” said Scott.

Riviera chief executive Wes Moxey said Dillon has boating in his bloodline and is very well known to Riviera and Belize owners on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore.

“Scott grew up on the water and around Riviera and he understands our ethos of excellence and integrity, and also our unwavering commitment to owner care. All of these key attributes are embedded deeply in his DNA,” Moxey said.

Scott’s wealth of marine knowledge and Riviera experience will be warmly welcomed by our valued Riviera Family of luxury motor yacht enthusiasts.”

R Marine Pittwater, located at the Quays Marina at Church Point will provide owner support, assistance and create social events and cruises for the growing number of Riviera and Belize owners who choose to keep their boats in the Pittwater, Broken Bay and Central Coast regions. The business will also support those cruising north or south along the NSW coast who may require specialist Riviera service or maintenance assistance.

“It really is exciting to again be able to work closely with the entire Riviera Family not only in the areas of service and sales, but also in planning the cruising and social events that make owning a Riviera or Belize such a unique and special experience,” added Scott.
