Benetti has celebrated its latest custom yacht, the carinthia blue, 65-metre M/Y Zazou in an official ceremony.
The sleek profile and dynamic external lines of the Zazou were designed by Giorgio M Cassetta while Dutch studio Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design was responsible for the refined and welcoming style interior and aspects of both the outdoor space and furnishings. The latter consisting of fully custom-designed build furniture, refined light fixtures and chandeliers.
The 20-metre-plus sun deck places the yacht at the top of its category and features a 5-metre infinity pool, gym, pantry, bathroom, bar cabinet, 10-person table and sundeck area.
The skylounge on the upper deck integrates naturally with the welcoming aft outdoor spaces, furnished with custom furniture: two L-shaped sofas and a table for eight people. Inside, a massage room, which can convert into a double VIP cabin, precedes the large, modern wheelhouse with integrated bridge and the adjacent ship office.
Aft of the main deck is another outdoor area dedicated to conversation and relaxation. In the interior, amidships, the vibrant bright living area, consisting of a dining and lounge area, is furnished in light colours and can be transformed into a technological cinema room.
Also located on the main deck is the owner’s suite, which includes a lounge area with television, double wardrobe and large bed with a second television. On port is a large bathroom with a shower and private balcony.
The lower deck features a stern opening for immediate access to the sea while a left side hatch acts as a second platform on water. Also included is a storage space for toys alongside a nearby lounging area.
The 65-metre vessel additionally features an elevator to connect the bridges between the lower and upper deck and a garage forward of the main deck for a 7.5-metre tender, a second rescue tender and two jet skis.
Zazou can house up to 12 people in six double cabins, while located in the galley is the separate crew accommodation area for up to 14 members.
The engine room hosts a couple of Caterpillar 3512Cs for a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. The range at 12 knots is 5,000 miles.
Zazou is currently expected to be delivered to its owner in mid-2021.
