The Table Club, a global network aimed at bringing together family offices and ultra-high net worth individuals, officially announced an exclusive America’s Cup New Zealand event – a private lunch at the exclusive Hurakia Lodge with guest speakers; Mr Stephen Hall, CEO of Tourism NZ; and Emirates Team NZ.
The invite-only event, on Friday 23 February 2018, will see high net worth New Zealanders and a number of Australian yachting families come together as part of The Table Club’s global network. The date is timed with the expected entry of the Volvo round the world fleet into Auckand Harbour for some great viewing.
“Our last New Zealand event at Hurakia Lodge with fifth generation Justin Rockefeller, a member of the famous New York dynasty, was extremely well received by the New Zealand high net families” said James Burkitt, CEO and founder of The Table Club.
“The Table Club is already involved with a handful of New Zealand families on a global level. Through this event – and many more to come – we are thrilled at the prospect of meeting other like-minded people who are interested in working together towards a common purpose.”
The Table Club has more than 800 families forming a truly global ultra-high net worth network.
Founded in Australia in 2009, The Table Club has established chapters in nine regions of the world including Europe, North America, Latin America, Singapore, India, Israel and Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand, with plans to launch in mainland China by Mid 2018. The organisation regularly holds events designed to spark conversation and encourage networking, idea generation and co-investing at a global and local level.
