Williams Jet Tenders will display its fully certified SOLAS (International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea) version of the Dieseljet 505 at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show, 28 September to 1 October.
Visitors will be able to explore this exceptional luxury tender which has been painstakingly modified to meet the stringent requirements for SOLAS certification.
Mathew Hornsby, Commercial Director at Williams Jet Tenders, said “We are thrilled to premiere one of our first SOLAS tenders at Monaco Yacht Show.
“Not only does the Dieseljet 505 look superb, but it is now also available with all the capabilities of a SOLAS rescue boat, making it an even more attractive proposition for yacht owners looking for a high-performing luxury tender.
“We have worked hard to make adjustments to the Dieseljet 505 to meet the rigorous SOLAS guidelines so our customers can enjoy peace of mind on the water.
“The role and appearance of SOLAS tenders have been evolving over the years and we hope to build on our experience with the Dieseljet 505 to extend our offering across further models in the future. We look forward to showing off the Dieseljet 505 to visitors at Monaco Yacht Show.”
As well as guest transportation and fast-paced watersports, the Dieseljet 505 SOLAS is also capable of marshalling and towing life rafts and acting as a man-over-board recovery boat. It can do it all, without compromising on looks, with the option to customise the tender to match the look and name of the mothership.
SOLAS-certified tenders are the gold standard in rescue vessels and a legal requirement for superyachts over 500 gt.
This addition to the Williams Dieseljet range will enable owners to opt for a Williams tender that can handle everything, helping limit the number of tenders required on board.
Williams has partnered with Lloyd’s Register to certify the SOLAS range, choosing the authority for its unrivalled global reputation for quality. Testing is rigorous, including a 3-metre drop test, self-righting and overload lifting, as well as endurance and heavy weather trials.
Powered by a 110HP Yanmar 4JH4 diesel engine that can reach speeds of 40 mph, the Dieseljet 505 is 5.03 metres in length and features a 68-litre fuel tank as standard. The Dieseljet 505 SOLAS can carry five crew plus stretcher.
High visibility orange panels with reflective tape are distinguishing features, whilst the tender is also equipped with a high-intensity flashing beacon and integrated lifeline rope on the inflatable tubes, as well as a low profile quick-release backrest.
Thanks to flexible design and exceptional engineering, Williams Jet Tenders is renowned for its ability to customise its tenders.
