Cantiere delle Marche has announced that its largest Darwin Class model to date, the Darwin 115, has been successfully launched.

This explorer yacht epitomises the very essence of exploring with a bold and robust steel hull, high bow and innovative technical additions. Aspects that, when combined with its high-quality construction, allow the model to sail thousands of miles a year.

The Italian brand has confirmed via a press release that the exterior lines and naval architecture were by Hydro Tec, while the interiors were penned by Nauta Design following the owner’s requests.

This is the first time that Nauta Design‘s Mario Pedol and Massimo Gino have accomplished the interiors of a Darwin Class model.

While at 115 feet in length, the model was originally designed to be 3-feet smaller until a request from the owner for a longer and enclosed swim platform demanded a greater overall length.

“We’re very glad that this experienced owner decided to entrust us to build his Darwin and proud of the confidence he has placed in our team,” says Cantiere delle Marche co-founder and Sales and Marketing Director Vasco Buonpensiere.

“We did our best to fulfil his expectations!”
