Performance Cruising Yachts has announced that the brand is now an exclusive Australia and New Zealand dealer for the Dufour Catamarans. 

Formerly owned by Dufour Yachts, the brand was sold to Fozzy Group, the owner of Croatia-based Under the Heavens Sailing, late last year. 

Confirmed by Performance Cruising Yachts as recently arriving in Australia, the first Dufour Catamarans model to be offered by the Sydney-based broker will be the Dufour 48. 

Built in Italy and designed by the naval architect Umberto Felci, the contemporary design of the Dufour 48 reflects a combination of style and performance.

This is evident in the mast and how it’s placed further aft to allow for larger headsails, while the boom is more angled than in most monohulls. 

The self-tacking jib combined with the mainsail creates a total sail area of over 120 square metres.
