A recent luxury renovation makes for a compelling reason to travel through the islands of the South Pacific.

Paul Gauguin Cruises have released details of their ship, Le Paul Gauguin and its extensive renovation. Designed by Studio Jean-Philippe Nue, the update offers a fresh design intended to heighten the experience of being on board and sailing throughout the South Pacific.

With amenities purposed to enhance to journey, guests will enjoy inclusive unlimited Wi-Fi and a tribute art gallery complete with over 150 paintings by artist, Paul Gauguin.

The all-inclusive experience offers the choice of dining in all three of the ship’s restaurants as well as 24-hour room service and a complementary open bar complete with a selection of wines, beer and spirits.

With 39 South Pacific voyages aboard the Le Paul Gauguin available throughout 2022, those interested in exploring the South Pacific in luxury can do so at a pace that suits them with a 7, 10, 11 or 14-night package.

Some of these packages include: the 10-night voyage at the Society Islands and Tuamotus, the 7-night voyage through the Tahiti and the Society Islands; the 14-night voyage through Marquesas, Tuamotus and the Society Islands, and the 11-night voyage through Fiji, Tonga, Cook and Society Islands.

This 7-night Tahiti and The Society Islands voyage focuses on the iconic Polynesian highlights of Moorea and Bora Bora, as well as Huahine and Taha’a (Motu Mahana). Available under 23 departures during 2022, prices start from AU$4,100 per person, twin share, in a window stateroom.

The 10-night Society Islands and Tuamotus itinerary visits the private island Motu Mahana, where guests can enjoy days of water sports, a traditional barbecue feast and cocktails from bars – both on land and floating on water. Six departure dates are available and include Huahine, Taha’a (Motu Mahana), Bora Bora and Moorea in the Society Islands, Fakarava and Rangiroa in Tuamotu before returning to Papeete. Prices begin from AU$5,510 per person, twin share, in a window stateroom.

The 14-night Marquesas, Tuamotus and Society Islands itinerary is the most comprehensive Paul Gauguin cruise available. Capturing all the highlights of the above two itineraries as well as adding Fatu Hiva, Hiva Oa, Tahuata, Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas to the mix, this two-week package is an enthralling paradise adventure. Five departure dates are available between March and November 2022. Prices start from AU$8,760 per person, twin share, in a window stateroom.

The 11-night Fiji, Tonga, Cook Islands and Society Islands voyages, running from September to October 2022, showcase not only the key French Polynesian Islands but reveal the glory of the Cook Islands, Tonga’s Vava’u in Tonga and Fiji’s Savusavu. Prices begin from from AU$8,630 per person, twin share, in a Porthole Stateroom.
