Ocean magazine’s Monaco Yacht Show correspondent John Leonida caught up with Beckett during the 2021 show on board the magnificent 85-metre yacht Victorious to glean his insights into where superyachting is heading.
“The pandemic has made everyone feel more vulnerable, and it makes you realise you’re not immortal and you’re not bulletproof,” Beckett says. “Now is the time to enjoy life and not put it off for another five or ten years.”
