Overmarine has launched the third Mangusta 165 Rev superyacht, the flagship in the Maxi Open line, in Viareggio, northern Italy.

The yacht’s maximum speed is 35 knots, thanks to four Rolls-Royce 2,600 HP engines coupled with a Kongsberg Kamewa water-jet propulsion system.

This yacht’s custom interiors were designed by M2 Atelier in cooperation with the shipyard’s design team.

The exteriors were pencilled by design firm Lobanov Design, which worked with Overmarine’s technical department to reinterpret the classic lines of Mangusta open yachts, modifying the layout and optimising interior volumes.

The saloon on the main deck’s most distinctive element is its large, floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces, which are enhanced by the two lateral fold-down balconies.

The 92-square-metre master stateroom is integrated into the hull to give the yacht an elegant profile.

The lower deck is reserved for guests and has five comfortable cabins. A proper lounge located forward and furnished with sofas, sunbathing areas, and a Jacuzzi ensures outdoor relaxation, while the sundeck has a bar area and couches.

With the 165 Rev, Mangusta says it has reshaped the aft beach club: in addition to a wide space by the sea, the owner and their guests can now find a sheltered, fully-equipped area.

The garage with side access offers generous volumes and can accommodate a 6-metre tender and two jet skis.

The vessel will be delivered to its owner at the end of June and will then spend the summer cruising the Mediterranean Sea.

The sale of the third hull of the Mangusta Maxi Open flagship was managed directly by Mangusta sales manager Nicolò Strocco.
