The Mazu 92DS was successfully launched on 20 August 2023, marking Mazu’s first foray into steel construction in this new semi-displacement series.

The 92DS will soon be followed by the 112 and 132 models. Mazu 92DS is the first steel hull to integrate IPS propulsion system and the first brand in the world to achieve this with a triple engine system of Volvo Penta IPS 1050 (three x 800HP).

Mazu 92DS will make her world premiere in the Cannes and Monaco yacht shows this September, and will then be delivered to her Turkish owner.

Exterior and interior design was created by Red Yacht Design, always in alignment with Mazu Yacht’s geometric lines, the design signature of the brand.

Ample light from the expansive decks and hull windows embraces a simple but sophisticated architecture that dominates both the endless outdoor areas as well as the interior ones of 160GTs in total.

The superyacht series is produced with a combination of steel hull and carbon composite superstructure in order to achieve reduced weight and low gravity centre.

Mazu Yachts has been designing and producing superyachts and tenders since 2011, with a vision to build “classics of the future”, sailing any sea or weather conditions.

With the first sea trials already having taken place, Mazu 92DS successfully passed the acceleration and top speed tests, reaching 18 knots full speed at 2.200 rpm and 13 knots at 1.500 rpm.

With a steel body of 120 tons, she consumes only 110 litres of fuel per hour, thus achieving a cruising range of 1,170 nautical miles with a single tank.
