Guests of Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort will now have the chance to get up-close-and-personal with rehabilitated elephants. While staying in specially designed transparent Jungle Bubbles, guests will be able to spend the night observing Thailand’s elephants in their natural habitat.

Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort sits on 160 acres of Northern Thailand’s jungle region. Guests won’t just experience the majesty of the elephants here, the unique position of the resort offers views over Thailand, Laos and Myanmar.

Ananatara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort collaborates with the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation (GTAEF). Together they share a goal for helping elephants, affected by abuse, to be rehabilitated.

Although guests can experience being close to the elephants, all activities have been designed to allow the elephant caretakers to raise the funds they need to look after the elephants without forcing the elephants into activities they might not enjoy. Essentially, the elephant comes first.

In helping raise money necessary to protect and care for the elephants’ safety, Ananatara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort have designed two Jungle Bubbles offering guests views of the elephants in their natural habitat. The Jungle Bubbles were custom designed by Eye In The Sky and are constructed with high tech polyester fabric using Precontraint Serge Ferrari technology to create a milieu in which guests can enjoy an immersive nature experience.

The bubble accommodation is fully air-conditioned, offering a well-proportioned bedroom and living space with a king bed and seating area under a transparent roof. For privacy, there is an enclosed, non-transparent en-suite shower.

Guests of the resort can purchase the Jungle Bubble experience as an optional activity with Ananatara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort. They will be able to spend the night from dusk till dawn before returning to the hotel in the morning.

Prices start from 17,700 Thai Baht (approximately $850 AUD) per night for two people. The experience includes a dinner basket, a fully stocked mini bar, 24-hour in-room dining service and tea and coffee making facilities.
