Aiming to revolutionise the recreational fishing market, the PowerRay drone from PowerVision, is a submersible, remote-controlled fish-finder that also provides "a stunning FPV underwater visual experience".

PowerVision wants to redefine fishing with its new PowerRay drone. It combines fishfinder, mobile app, and VR goggle which provides real-time visualisation of finding and catching fish.
Packing plenty of features, the sub-drone includes an internal fish luring light with a hue of blue, and a remotely operated bait drop.

But it’s more than a fish seeker; “it’s an intelligent underwater robot designed to let you see the world as never before, explore under the waves with a stunning FPV underwater visual experience”.
Able to explore at a depth of 98-feet (30 metres), with an umbilical cord of 70 or so metres, and three operational modes from beginner to expert, PowerRay is compatible with an optional FishFinder add-on that uses a sonar system to detect fish and send images to the user. It operates in both fresh and salt water and includes a 4K camera that can shoot 12-megapixel stills and video.
The detachable PowerSeeker FishFinder can be used as a stand-alone device. Detailed information on fish distribution, underwater temperature, depth, underwater landscape, and fish alerts are all available on the mobile app.
Priced from $1,488 to $1,888, the PowerRay is just one of the innovative drone products PowerVision has on the market. In 2016, PowerVision launched the PowerEgg drone.
Roughly the size of a rugby ball and around 2kgs, it has landing gear and propeller struts that retract into the housing. The bottom tip of the Egg pops off to reveal a 4K UHD camera mounted on a stabilized 360 degree gimbal.
Positioned as extremely user-friendly, the Power Egg is capable of flying both indoors and out. When outside, the UAV’s onboard GPS keeps track of where it is relative to the operator. When flying inside, the Power Egg switches over to sonar and ground pattern recognition to understand its orientation.
