First unit of the new Sanlorenzo 500Exp launched during Elite Days 2018.

Against backdrop of Elite Days 2018, a weekend of celebrations for the 60th anniversary of Sanlorenzo, the first unit of 500Exp was launched with a Buddhist ceremony, in full respect for the traditions of the young Chinese owner.
The new model is an evolution of the 460Exp, and represents the personalisation that has always characterised Sanlorenzo.
Developed in close consultation with the owner, the new 500Exp makes it possible to have a longer stern area, thus meeting a specific request of the client to provide a landing area for helicopters, without losing the configuration of a superyacht Explorer, ensuring the most authentic sense of adventure on the open sea, thanks also to the many “toys” in the equipment.
47 metres long and weighing 500 tons, the 500Exp challenges the concept of the expedition boat, proposing itself as a luxury superyacht for trips to exotic and distant destination.

As a matter of fact, the superyacht is ready to take a long journey around the world, in leisure and comfort, without giving up on that touch of Sanlorenzo design.
Sanlorenzo has focused on the concept of space, combining experience and innovation with a unique design approach.
Sanlorenzo Superyacht Division, which has allowed the company to record a strong growth in the sales volumes, is located in La Spezia in the new 50.000+ square-metre production site, recently acquired and entirely dedicated to designing and building metal models above 40 metres.
