Organisers of the Singapore Yacht Show have announced that their floorspace, already expanded from 50,000 sqm for this year’s edition of the show, is now approaching capacity, with global exhibitors keen to showcase their contribution to luxury boating.

The eighth edition of the show will take place from 12-15 April 2018 at ONE°15 Marina in Sentosa Cove, winner of several international accolades, including a FIVE Gold Anchor Award, over its ten years of operation.

Of particular appeal this year will be the redesigned North Pavilion, which now caters exclusively for luxury and lifestyle brands.

Over 14,000 visitors are expected from across the region and the world, many of them keen to see the worldwide and Asian debuts of leading luxury shipbuilders. Princess YachtsAzimutFerretti and Gulf Craft are just a few of the brands using the show as a platform to reveal new models to the Asian market. Last year saw 20 models premiered at the show.

Andy Treadwell, CEO and founder of Singapore Yacht Show, said: “We are proud to see that both new and returning companies from a wide range of yachting, boating and lifestylesectors are quickly confirming their presence at the show. Our main objective remains to be working together with the authorities in Asia and global industry leaders to create strong and sustainable platforms that will allow the whole Asian boating market to grow by attracting the wealth-generating potential of the superyacht industry.”

April is an extremely busy time in Singapore so organisers recommend securing accommodation in advance. W Singapore – Sentosa Cove is the official hotel for the Singapore Yacht Show, with preferential rates available for attendees.

The show is owned by Singapore’s Verventia Pte Ltd, which is also behind the Thailand Yacht Show, scheduled for 22-25 February 2018 in Phuket.
