The key features of the 40-metre vessel are a streamlined profile, expansive exterior and interior volumes, and unusually bright and open upper decks.
With a length of 40.24 meters and a maximum beam of 8.28 meters, this new megayacht designed by Benetti will be ready in 2018 for delivery to her owner, who was advised by broker Arcon Yachts, based in Monaco. The agency will also be in charge of the project management of the BS010’s construction. It will be Benetti’s second delivery next year, scheduled to take place after that of the BF106.
The BS101 features rotating external steering fins that retract into the gunwale, running lights integrated with the exterior styling to give the boat a more contemporary and beguiling profile, a jacuzzi on the upper deck and, finally, external aerial stairways.
Fitted with innovative technology systems, this Classic Supreme 132’ uses a platform known as Benetti’s Exclusive Sea Technology to integrate all the yacht’s electronic and onboard systems and provide a unique, user-friendly interface, while the Integrated Bridge system interfaces all the navigation and communication instrumentation to make managing the boat simpler and more reliable.
The model’s sun deck stands out for its 100 square metres of usable space and sophisticated decor, while the distinguishing feature of the upper deck’s outdoor area is the “aerial” stairway with a steel structure and teak steps, allowing for a spacious, light-filled deck.
On the main deck the saloon is flooded with light thanks to the large windows on both sides of the yacht. Guests are accommodated in four double cabins, while the captain’s cabin is located on the upper deck.
The engine room houses a pair of MTU 12V2000M72, driving the yacht to a top speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of about 14.5 knots. The range at cruising speed is 3,400 nautical miles.
