Propspeed has announced the appointment of Cameron Robinson as their Business Development Manager – Australia and New Zealand.

Underwater foul-release coater, Propspeed, has announced that Cameron Robinson will become their new Business Development Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Robinson brings decades of maritime experience to the role, including 20 years across various race circuits with high-profile sports teams and private owners throughout Australasia, the Americas, the Caribbean and Europe.

His career highlights include breaking offshore records on the Rambler 100, working on the Volvo Ocean Race and providing shore support for Emirates Team New Zealand (ETNZ) during their successful run at the 35th America’s Cup.

He also provided shore support for ETNZ from 2019–2020 as well as working a sales specialist role for car manufacturer, Tesla in 2018

Robinson has relocated from New Zealand to Australia for the role to develop key partnerships and service new clients.

“After nearly 20 years of boatbuilding in the race yacht industry around the world, I’m enjoying my new home at Propspeed,” said Robinson on his appointment.

“I have already experienced a warm welcome in Australia and I’m very excited to expand the brand’s reach through the region.”

Based in Auckland, the US and the UK, Propspeed specialises in ultra-slick topcoats to prevent marine growth on bonding and metal surfaces below the waterline.
