Australian luxury motor yacht builder, Riviera will present their most comprehensive boat show display for the year at May’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

The showcase will feature a number of models across the Gold Coast-based brand’s range of Sports Motor Yachts, SUVs, Flybridge and Sport Yachts. A collection that includes 22 individual models from 39 to 72 feet in length.

Excitingly, the show will also provide an opportunity for attendees to be among the first to step aboard the new Riviera flagship, the 645 SUV. A grand design that offers longer-range offshore cruising with premium accommodation.

The 645 SUV comes with either three or four staterooms, three bathrooms and a utility, as well as an additional accommodation aft. The model also features an alfresco entertaining and dining deck, galley with island bench, a side saloon door, large walk-around side decks and foredeck that acts as an entertainment hub.

The choice of Twin MAN V8 1300 (956 kW) or MAN V12 1550 (1,140 kW) common rail marine diesels has been selected for the 645 SUV power options. Decisions that provide a noticeable exceptional power-to-weight performance.

The 1550s will deliver a cruise speed of 30 knots and wide-open throttle around 34 knots.

“This international acclaim is a source of great pride for the more than 600 people who are involved in the building of every new yacht knowing that the Riviera motor yachts of today are built to deliver the ultimate boating experience for our boat owners,” said Riviera owner, Rodney Longhurst on the planned showcase.

“Our team are looking forward to presenting our premiere model among a truly outstanding line-up of Riviera luxury motor yachts at [Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show] this year and we look forward to welcoming visitors aboard,” he went on to add.

The 645 SUV will be accompanied by the 445, 505 and 575 SUVs as well as the luxurious and long-range 72, 64 and 50 Sports Motor Yachts.

Also set to be included are the 6000, 5400, and 4800 Sport Yacht Platinum Editions as well as the blue-water heritage 57 Enclosed Flybridge.

“Our showcase will provide a unique opportunity to fully appreciate the superior quality, practicality and luxury across our full range of models all in one convenient location and for visitors to experience the advances in design, performance and interior finishes that have made Riviera today the finest yachts we have built,” Longhurst said.

In addition to the display, Riviera’s showcase will also include a number of social events including the Riviera owners’ ladies’ luncheon and the Riviera Owners Party aboard The YOT Club – a floating superyacht entertainment hub.

Riviera’s display is also set to host the ninth Riviera Festival of Boating. An event that enables owners to participate in a program of boating educational and training events including the Ladies’ skippers, mastering knots lines and hitches, offshore seamanship, understanding radar, navigating at night and onboard power systems management – options all designed to encourage Riviera owners and their families to enjoy their boating to the fullest.

“We’re proud to announce that Sanctuary Cove this year will be home to our largest display of Riviera motor yachts in Australia for 2021,” said Longhurst.
