British yacht manufacturer Sunseeker International will attend the 2024 boot Düsseldorf show – the largest indoor boat show in the world which runs from 20 to 28 January 2024.
Sunseeker will host two European debuts at the show: the Ocean 182 and the Predator 75. Alongside, the Sunseeker lineup includes the 95 Yacht, 88 Yacht, 76 Yacht, Manhattan 68, Predator 65, Manhattan 55 and Superhawk 55.
“In addition to showcasing our stunning lineup of yachts at the boot Düsseldorf International Boat Show, we are delighted to present the Ocean 182 and Predator 75 to the European market for the first time,” says Andrea Frabetti, chief executive at Sunseeker International.
“Our knowledgeable teams and distributors will be on hand to answer questions, discuss customisation options, and guide future Sunseeker owners through the unique features of our yachts.”
The second hull of the Ocean 182, built to a European specification, will have its European debut at boot Düsseldorf. Named after its gross tonnage, the tri-deck Ocean 182 has over 2,000 square feet of interior space and an ‘infinity’ main deck layout.
Powered by Twin MAN V12 1900 engines, the latest Ocean model to join the Sunseeker range achieves a comfortable top speed of 27 knots. Meanwhile, at a displacement speed of 12 knots, this yacht has a range of 1,100 nautical miles. The Ocean 182 benefits from a CMC fin stabilisation system, providing stability when underway and significant roll reduction while at rest or anchor.
The 6-metre by 4-metre beach club has an electric barbecue grill and two Sonance speakers with a Sonos Amp, while the hydraulic retractable SeaStair and bathing platform enable accessibility into and out of the water.
The bathing platform has a maximum lifting capacity of 750 kilograms and can store a tender and jet ski. The Sunseeker X-Tend sunbed offers two seating arrangements to the aft cockpit and beach club, plus storage underneath. The beach club leads to a generous aft cockpit with loose furniture complemented by additional refrigeration.
The foredeck is a social space with several seating arrangements capable of seating a large group. Twin chaise longues on the port and starboard side accompany a large sunpad forward. Beneath the windshield lies a comfortable bench seat with drink holders, marine speakers, refrigeration drawers, retractable mood lighting, and a sail canopy for day-to-night cruising.
Sunseeker says the Ocean 182 interior epitomises the floating penthouse concept.
Those who step on board are met with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors on the port side and matching windows on the starboard side, with uninterrupted views from bow to stern. The main deck is a dedicated space for socialising and entertaining, offering 671 square feet of living space with a collection of contemporary loose furniture to fill the space.
The saloon has a trio of polished Minotti coffee tables complemented by a sofa crafted by expert Sunseeker joiners and upholsterers.
Forward of the spiral staircase is a semi-open galley with a pantograph door to the port side deck, equipped with Miele appliances, additional refrigeration and a 34-bottle wine cooler. A dining table for eight guests and a bar forward is on the starboard side.
With fully retractable sliding doors, the upper deck can fully close to create a third indoor living space or be left open to form an al-fresco balcony. The sole helm console on this yacht, situated on the upper deck, has not been seen on a Sunseeker before. Next to the helm, an L-shaped bar is conveniently located for service with the crew or for owner use.
Further aft, on the starboard side, there is an extension of the saloon with U-shaped seating and a fixed TV unit with storage on the port side. The upper saloon features Porta Romana lighting fixtures that draw inspiration from British surrealist artist Paul Nash. Beyond the upper saloon lies an outside space on the upper deck with loose lounge seating and expansive panoramic glazing, offering far-reaching views out to the horizon.
Below deck are three double cabins and a twin, all with en suite in a standard configuration. The full-beam owner’s cabin positioned amidships is an indulgent escape for the owner, whilst the forward VIP provides a luxurious experience for guests.
The Ocean 182 benefits from a highly customisable interior to suit the owner’s style and taste. The interior, curated in collaboration with Design Unlimited, is characterised by soft, neutral tones and a blend of textured materials, recessed ambient mood lighting, stainless steel trim detailing, and specially designed feature bulkheads and cabinetry.
The next generation of Sunseeker Predator has a new Midnight Grey Gelcoat and sleek Jet Black detailing to the exterior. The coupé-style hardtop and coamings are finished in LSA black paint, lowering the overall profile of the aggressive silhouette. Dual colour blue and white Lumishore underwater lighting and additional low-level LED lighting help add a striking feature to the Predator 75 at night.
Powered by twin MAN V12-1900 engines, the Predator 75 reaches top speeds of 40 knots. The latest addition to Sunseeker’s Predator range is fitted with a hydraulic bow and stern thruster, creating a smooth experience whether at anchor or helming at speed.
The Predator 75 is a yacht designed to host gatherings and entertain. The cockpit has a six-seat carbon fibre with a folding top fitted to polished stainless steel synchronised electric legs.
Four Sonance Extreme speakers and a Sonos Amp create an immersive audio experience on board. An electric barbeque grill, 80-litre refrigerator and ice maker in the cockpit bring the ultimate outdoor dining experience to the open seas.
During the day, an electric canopy extends over the social arrangement of seating. Meanwhile, dimmable lighting overhead and a privacy canopy bring an intimate atmosphere to the stern in the evening.
The cockpit door slides to starboard, and then the door and window descend beneath the seating, uniting the cockpit with the saloon. Plush seating arrangements complement a storage unit on the port side, complete with an integrated mini-bar refrigerator. The centrepiece of entertainment is a 55-inch UHD Smart 4K television. Furthermore, audio zoning is accessed through a tablet pre-loaded with the Sonos App.
The helm console features a steer-by-wire autopilot system, while the dual 19-inch Simrad multi-function displays offer real-time navigational data. The Sunseeker Cm8 power management and boat monitoring system ensures control over the yacht systems on board. Comfortable seats offer ergonomic comfort for extended periods at the helm.
The lower galley has integrated Miele appliances, a full-height refrigerator and freezer, a slimline dishwasher and a 33-bottle wine cooler.
The lower deck offers sleeping accommodation for six guests and two crew with three, well-appointed guest cabins. The full-beam owners’ cabin has a dressing table fitted with storage, en suite and walk-in wardrobe.
The tropical air conditioning package is designed for hot climates, with advanced cooling technology and climate control features working together to ensure a comfortable atmosphere.
