The independent superyacht management and construction company Arrow Monaco has confirmed its first change in ownership.
Paul Archer, founder of the company, has passed the helm to Arrow Monaco’s Chief Executive Yerin Hobson.
Hobson originally joined the team in 2007 as a yacht manager, soon after progressing into a technical director’s role, which he held for five years before becoming CEO.
In a statement, Arrow says that this transition of ownership comes as a result of a “long-cherished vision shared between Hobson and Archer,” who first forged a friendship over two decades ago.
Over the years, Arrow Monaco has evolved from a boutique-style yacht management company to having a global team spread across the US and Monaco.
The firm, which opened an American office in Fort Lauderdale Florida in 2022, says that Hobson has “a profound understanding of the company’s heritage, a deep passion for the maritime industry, and a shared commitment to its values.”
Today, Arrow offers a comprehensive range of services, including operational, new-build, and refit project management, surveys, and technical 3D scanning of yachts.
The firm says it has 25 yachts under operational management and 17 yachts in build, up to and over 100 metres in length. Arrow says its team spans 12 nationalities, speaking a total of 18 different languages, and aims to respond to every captain and client within two hours.
