Dutch American Yachts introduces the new DA50 at the Palm Beach Boat Show 2024.

Dutch boatbuilder Steeler Yachts and US-based Iconic Marine Group have joined forces to develop the new Dutch American product line, which is being revealed to the public at the Palm Beach Boat Show 2024.
The Dutch American yachts are built in the Netherlands but have been specially crafted for US clients, according to Steeler Yachts. The yar says it is “aiming for nothing less than the best Dutch-built yacht with the best service and support” for an unmatched yachting experience.”
All DA models, ranging from 50 to 75 feet, are constructed in aluminium. Aluminium constructions are typically the preferred choice for superyachts, offering various advantages over commonly used GRP hulls regarding strength, weight distribution, stability, safety, gloss rate and customisation possibilities.
The DA50 will be showcased at the Palm Beach Boat Show in Florida, which runs from 21 to 24 March 2024. Steeler says the new model is the first statement of the new brand, which is pitched at “elevating the yachting experience for US buyers to a whole new level.”

The DA50 has been designed to be comfortable and versatile, with innovations such as a T-top that can electronically be transformed into a hardtop. The foreship is fully connected to the cockpit area by means of an electric-operated retractable glass ceiling. In addition, the interior features two double bedrooms, a lounge area, a full-size galley and a separate bathroom and toilet.
Powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS800 diesels, the yacht reaches a top speed of 43 miles per hour.
Compared to GRP yachts, the DA50’s aluminium hull with a low centre of gravity, resulting in comfortable cruising without spray in choppy seas.
The DA50 was nominated in Europe as European Powerboat of the Year and winner of the Dutch Powerboat of the Year title.
The first DA53s from the new DA line will be launched in the United States in mid-2024. This 4xV12 600HP outboard-propelled powerhouse has been jointly designed by Iconic and Steeler to bridge the gap between speed and comfort.
The DA53 combines the advantages of a strong yet lightweight aluminium hull construction with spacious, luxurious interiors, ensuring that speed and comfort are equally impressive.
The result is a 55-mile-per-hour performance yacht with the comfort and versatility to cruise for longer voyages.
The DA53 has two double bedrooms, the master bedroom located midships with a French double bed. Glass windows in the hull offer a perfect sea view when waking up. The ‘T-top/hardtop in one’ feature and the retractable glass ceiling over the foreship give the yacht’s owners the flexibility to easily adapt the yacht’s characteristics to any weather and sea conditions.
By the end of 2024, the fleet of Dutch American Yachts will be complemented by the arrival of the DA62 Supersport and the DA62 Beachclub, which are currently under construction.
