A luxury vessel described as “a new legend of spirit of individuality”, the German-built craft launched at the 2017 Dusseldorf boat show and is described as “a mix of spectacular design, seductive elegance, and top workmanship” by the Insider Yachts team.

“We find inspiration in conceivable sources. We combine style and harmony, creating perfection in every detail, unmistakable and irresistible. Our international team of experts has established the insider DNA: spectacular design, seductive elegance, top workmanship. This is a boat couture of boatbuilding.  Delight for the skipper and his crew.”

Its creators, Bernd Kußmaul who works with Jaguar, Land Rover, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and Aston Martin, and company founder, Christoph Socha worked with naval architects and yard, iYacht, Hamburg.

“While almost all shipyards offer more functions and space on board, Insider has only one goal: to evoke emotions,” said Christoph Socha, Managing Director and creative mind behind the brand.

“Just a glance at the stern shows, that without a doubt it clearly succeeded. No other boat so consistently achieves such high standards of perfection and polarising design.

It is not possible to compare the boat with other suppliers based on its space or the prices of its option list. Not because it is impossible to find something comparable, but rather because Insider has created something unique.”

For the team involved, it was critical that the boat’s handling was as impressive as its aesthetic, “like an elegant sports car on the street”.
The hull was designed by the Hamburg-based iYacht, while all details, from the leather to the stainless steel, are custom-made.

“Each and every detail is individually fabricated, even the struts underneath the engine compartment cover and the water drains in the cockpit,” said Socha.

The Insider is available with either gas or diesel engines and boasts a top speed of 100 km/h. With its 2.5-metre beam, the boat can be towed with a medium sized car. Insider also offers the option of designing and building a companion trailer “with fine details similar to the boat itself”.

There are three units in production and several more orders since Top Marques. As for price, Insider Yachts will not be drawn on the cost, simply stating: “it costs as much as the emotions and craftsmanship that is inside it.”
