Boating Syndication Australia’s founders Andy and Belinda Young held their annual Sydney International Boat Show Dinner at L’Aqua, overlooking Darling Harbour on the second day of the show.

The evening was a celebration of several milestones, one being BSA’s Tenth Anniversary.

The other main reason for celebrating was the global launch of Andy Young’s, and his business partner Mark Johnston’s, Longreef Yachts and the debut of the 60SX Flybridge at the show.

There was further cause for celebration as the vessel sold earlier that day, with further orders in the pipeline. The new range of luxury yachts was the result of Andy trying to find the ultimate boat for syndication which was easy to run, maintain and drive, and also be perfect for entertaining for families, and business meetings alike.

With the input of over 400 boat-owners offering both negative and positive comments over the years, Andy decided to design his own superior motor yacht collection which would implement all the feedback, and his own knowledge garnered over ten years to have everything in the right place and make the owners life onboard to be as enjoyable as possible to spend with their guests.

The 60SX Flybridge, was the first of the range to be unveiled, with Flybridges and Sports Yachts available in both 50 and 60 feet, in addition to a 90SX Flybridge.

The evening’s sumptuous three-course dinner was not only a great time to socialise with other owners and their peers, but to also raise money for one of Andy and Belinda’s beloved charities, Zambi Wildlife Retreat. The retreat is an animal welfare establishment that has become a sanctuary for exotic animals retired from the zoo, circus and entertainment industries and a rescue and rehabilitation facility for all species in need, including domestic, farm and native animals, that could now be offered a new forever home for their retirement.

The evening was a huge success celebrating all the goals reached at the show and in 2018 and the evening’s silent auction raised awareness of this amazing charity and raised many thousands of dollars needed for caring for the ever-growing number of animals housed at the reserve.
