Arksen will debut the Arksen 8 at the Southampton International Boat Show, the UK’s largest boating event, from 13 to 22 September 2024.
The Arksen 8 is the first model in the Discovery Series. It is designed for adventure-oriented families and offers a versatile open RIB configuration.
The 8-metre adventure boat has a 2.9-metre beam and can accommodate up to 12 passengers. Its deck layout is designed for ease of movement and equipment storage, such as scuba gear and fishing rods. The boat is equipped for cross-channel and inter-island trips, providing extended range and power to support two families with necessary supplies for a day on the water.
The vessel features a hydrodynamic hull design, including a 24-degree deadrise deep V hull form, spray rails, and an optimised forefoot, intended to provide stability and performance in ocean swells and coastal waters. Rated for up to 500hp, it can be fitted with single or twin outboard engines, and its 495-litre fuel tank supports longer cruising.

The Arksen 8 offers multiple seating configurations, including bow seating for up to five passengers, a mid-ship wet bar and BBQ unit, and fold-up bench seats leading to the aft dining area. The cabin has suspension pilot seats, a comprehensive dashboard, optional hardtop, and electrically opening roof configurations. It also includes an internal heads compartment with private changing space, luxury amenities, and storage.
Arksen will also showcase the new Foul Weather Jacket, designed for Autumn/Winter 2024. This jacket features reinforced Cordura panels and a three-layer nylon outer layer for durability and waterproof performance, reflecting Arksen’s experience in maritime exploration.

Arksen will be located at stand F064 in Mayflower Park. The official launch event will be at 2:30pm on Friday, September 13th.
