Through your Personal TravelManager, bespoke luxury travel company Away from the Ordinary can organise money-can’t-buy experiences, including private cask tastings in distilleries.

Tastings of rare bottlings, or those crafted to your personal needs, can all be found via a video call with Robert the Bruce’s descendant Lord Bruce if you enquire about a booking in 2021.

And if you’d like to taste a fine whisky before then, why not try an individualised digital whisky tasting?

The tastings are led by Away From The Ordinary founder and whisky expert Aeneas O’Hara, who talks through the malts via Zoom.

Participants are sent a link to a website where they can order the five carefully curated malt whiskies, ten days ahead of the tastings. The group then chat through the whiskies over a one- to two-hour digital session.

Participants can either arrange an individual tasting for themselves and their friends and colleagues, or choose to join one of the pre-arranged tastings, which usually run on regional themes. The next dates are 14 and 28 May.
