What led to D’Albora Marine being appointed as exclusive Azimut dealers in Australia?

We feel our brands are very complimentary. The alignment of a leading global product range, with an integrated marine service business comprising marinas, boatyards, management and sales services made sense.

It’s great time to be partnering with Azimut as the company releases an exciting new product range, including the Atlantis 45. Who do think the 45 will appeal to and when will one arrive in Australia?

Azimut is celebrating its 50th anniversary. They have partnered with new international designers and soon you will see a revolutionary new product range. The 45, set for Australian shores in November this year, is a really smart sports cruiser. Sporting an edgy design and a whole host of features including joystick controls, it is perfect for day boating and short stays. It will attract both first timers and experienced boaters.

What other new models are in the pipeline?

Azimut has released three highly innovative models I can share with you. The first is the Grande S10 which is a 100-foot sports bridge with a dual garage, beach club, foredeck lounge and a fantastic indoor-outdoor main deck concept. The next is the Grande Magellano 25 Metri RPH.

Targeted at the traveller, this displacement-style boat has an innovative dual model hull offering highly economical cruising at two speeds and extended range. The last is the 78 Flybridge. Like all the boats in the range, it has carbon fibre technology in the upper sections of the boat to reduce weight, lower the centre of gravity and improve seakeeping. On this model there is also a huge flybridge and foredeck lounge, making it the true entertainer or family motor yacht.

What can existing Azimut owners look forward to now that D’Albora Marine is representing the company here?

Together with Azimut, our strong focus will be on providing enhanced service to owners and enriching their ownership experience through our expansive network and services offerings.

What’s the strategic direction of D’Albora Marine over the next few years? Where is the company targeting growth?

For the moment, we’re very focussed on developing customer service and creating core offerings at each of our locations; we feel there is plenty of scope in these areas.

What services can you offer in terms of brokerage?

With a diverse business offering, and a footprint of 10 locations in three states, our network is uniquely positioned to connect buyers and sellers. Right now our brokerage business is well established and our experienced team is selling boats right around the country.
