Cantiere del Pardo, the historic Italian boat brand, has confirmed details of its appearance at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024.

The Pardo GT75, the Grand Soleil 52 Performance, and the Grand Soleil 65 Performance will all make their world debuts at Cannes, the influential annual show that takes place this year from 10 to 15 September 2024 in southern France.

The news comes after Cantiere del Pardo became part of Oniverse, the Italian fashion and lingerie group formerly known as Calzedonia Group.

Calzedonia acquired Wise Equity Fund’s stake in Cantiere del Pardo in mid-2023.

Pardo GT75

Pardo Yachts is expanding its GT range with the Pardo GT75. The new flagship measures nearly 23 metres and features many of the same design choices as the GT series.

Positioned between the Walkaround and Endurance ranges, it combines spacious interiors with hull lines typical of a high-performance 75-footer.

The yard says the GT75 offers an experience “akin to a villa on the sea”, with carefully designed living and accommodation spaces, large sundecks, and lounge areas on both the aft and foredeck to enjoy a connection with the sea.

Grand Soleil 52 Performance

Inspired by the lines of the Grand Soleil 52, originally designed by German Frers in 1987, this new addition marks the return of a legendary model.

At the time, approximately 60 units were produced of a yacht described as “a masterpiece destined to last.”

The new Grand Soleil 52 Performance, starting from the Cantiere del Pardo concept, was designed by Matteo Polli (naval architecture) and Nauta Design (exteriors, interiors, and layout).

The Grand Soleil 52 Performance retains the elegance and shapes of the yacht it’s based on, which – as the name suggests – translates into stability and performance.

Grand Soleil 65 Performance

The new Grand Soleil 65 Performance is the latest model in Grand Soleil Yachts‘ over-60-foot range, following the successful debut of the GS 65 Long Cruise version.

Hallmarks of this new model include solutions specifically designed to improve the model’s energy efficiency.

The Grand Soleil 65 Performance has been designed in collaboration with Matteo Polli (naval architecture) and Nauta Design (exteriors, interiors, and layout).

Franco Corazza, entrepreneur, longtime racer, and established champion with 12 Italian titles, two European titles, and one world title, headed the concept development of the Grand Soleil 65P.
