The upgrades have been a collaboration with Misha Merzliakov Yacht Design and will elevate the yachts to a superlative level of luxury.

The Flybridge 7000 is currently the flagship model of Whitehaven Motor Yachts, launching the brand over a decade ago.  Whilst the original Flybridge 7000 is on display at Sanctuary Cove, the new concept for the model will debut alongside her.

After some inspiring ideas from a long-term Whitehaven customer, the new concept for the Flybridge 7000 includes an exterior design upgrade and expansion of the beam to 19 feet for more onboard amenity.  Yet the largest change is the layout of the main saloon and accommodation suites below deck to reflect current market trends.

Similarly, the current Flybridge 6000 will be on display on Pier E/F throughout the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show along with the new concept for its 2022 model.  It too has an exterior styling upgrade plus subtle yet important changes to the internal arrangement.  They are changes which will only add to the award-nominated design and most popular Whitehaven model.

The reimagined flybridge models continue to offer the signature Whitehaven mezzanine decks that seamlessly link the saloon to outdoor alfresco dining area. This configuration creates ample below deck space for a fully enclosed tender garage easily accessible from the swim platform.

This arrangement is one of the key selling features of the Whitehaven range of motor yachts.

Whitehaven Motor Yachts will also be revealing a whole new concept, the Sports Yacht 7000.  Based on the 6500 version, this yacht is currently in production and on track for launch in September of this year.

“We took the opportunity of 2020 to review all of our most popular motor yachts and give them a refresh,” explains founder and managing director, Bruce Scott.

“We were fortunate to the have the inspiration from a current owner as well as the expertise of Misha Merzliakov and we are bringing to Sanctuary Cove concepts which are modern, bold, exciting and intuitive.

“Additionally, all of these new concepts can be delivered by summer of 2022 so you don’t have to wait too long for a classic motor yacht from Whitehaven.”

The Sports Yacht 7000 combines the styling and prowess of a semi-displacement motor yacht with long range cruising capability.

There are three generous accommodation suites with the full-beam master suite midships.

The main deck has a high helm position for superior visibility and expansive windows for panoramic views.  The saloon, galley and aft cockpit integrate flawlessly making it one of the most ideal yachts for entertaining on the market. The multifunctional foredeck offers a perfect seating location for sunset cocktails or lounging on the sunbed.

“The Sports Yachts 7000 is currently in production and will be delivered to her owner in September of this year.  The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show will be the first opportunity for interested parties to see this motor yacht and exactly how much we can offer,” continues Mr Scott.

Whitehaven Motor Yachts is located on Pier E/F during SCIBS.
