Sunreef Yachts has announced a strategic partnership with Brabus to develop a new motor catamaran concept.
Brabus is a German high-performance mobility brand known for automotive tuning. The firm has recently branched out into boatbuilding.
The new collaboration between Sunreef and Brabus aims to merge the technical expertise and distinctive identities of both companies to create a unique line of luxury catamarans.
The partnership was introduced at an event held by Sunreef Yachts and Brabus at the Monaco Yacht Club during the Monaco Yacht Show. Attendees included Sunreef Ambassadors Rafael Nadal, Fernando Alonso and Mike Horn.
“Partnering with Brabus allows us to explore a new, entirely unique level of bespoke elegance for our catamarans,” says Francis Lapp, founder and president of Sunreef Yachts.

“By combining our experience in designing luxurious, custom-built multihulls with Brabus’ unmistakable signature style, we are creating products that will redefine luxury on the water.”
Constantin Buschmann, owner and chief executive of Brabus, adds: “As we continue the Brabus Marine journey with our award-winning Shadow range in partnership with Finnish day boating pioneers Axopar, we’re excited to be expanding our portfolio into the world of high-end luxury catamarans together with Sunreef Yachts.
“To us, it’s all about setting new standards. About challenging our know-how and our design DNA with a brand-new range of luxury products defined by what both brands do best.”
Lapp and Buschmann confirm that the collaboration will initially focus on a line of motor catamarans based on the Sunreef Ultima 55, scheduled for release in 2025.
Plans include future models, with additional details to follow as the partnership progresses.
