The 6th hull sold in the 80HT series, the latest Otam 80HT represents the brand’s commitment to building high-performance yachts tailored to the individual preferences of its discerning clients. The 25.5 metre Attitude is set for delivery in April 2020. This latest model was designed by Umberto Tagliavini and his valuable Team of Marine Design and Services.

On specific request of the owner, the foredeck features a large sunbed and height-adjustable table to maximise the usability of this open-air space. The sunbed cushions can be raised to form a backrest, but both sunbed and accompanying table have been designed so as not to compromise the 80HT’s iconic profile when viewed from the side. The whole area can be shaded by a bimini supported on lightweight poles.

Another request of the owner is the horseshoe-shaped sofa seating in the aft cockpit. The layout means that access forward from the cockpit is by the port companionway only, but the seating area is dramatically increased in size with space to seat up to 10 guests around the table in convivial comfort, with another generous sunbed atop the transom.

The safety gates leading down to the swim platform are also designed to request of the owner with a removable top section to reduce their aesthetic impact, yet still provide a low but child-safe barrier.

The tender bay under the aft sunbed has been increased in size to house a 3.95-metre Williams sport jet tender. Remarkable for an 80-foot yacht, the tender is certified for a certified payload of 6 people to make transfers both more comfortable for guests and reduce the number of ship-to-shore operations.

Last but not least, top service is a priority for the owner who requested an extra cabin for his chief stewardess/chef conveniently placed next to the galley. The Miele-equipped galley itself goes above and beyond standard specifications with a full-size dishwasher, a large fridge and freezer, and a washing-drier machine in a separate alcove.

In terms of the interior layout, the open-plan main salon and helm station is designed with conviviality in mind, with ample seating and wine cellars integrated into the chaise longue. Attitude’s guest accommodation comprises a full-beam master suite amidships, a twin guest cabin on the portside and a second master cabin forward. The ceiling height in the latter has been maintained at a generous at 2.10-metre – remarkable for a sports yacht of her size.

The yacht is powered by twin MTU main engines (2600 hp each) coupled to Arneson drives for a top speed of 47 knots and a cruising speed of 40 knots. This exceptional performance and outstanding efficiency is in part thanks also to her patent-protected, 6-blade propellers developed by Rolla exclusively for OTAM.
