Oceanco, the Dutch shipbuilder, which specialises in custom-built yachts in the 80 to 140-metre range, collaborated with Nauta Design on the concept project.
Designer Mario Pedol of Nauta was on hand at the premiere to discuss Spectrum’s features and design brief. He explained that integral to the design ethos was a connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces and giving guests generous living spaces with lots of natural light via large windows and exterior balconies.
The name ‘Spectrum’ was aptly chosen as a heralding of the broad range of possibilities in terms of her propulsion system and her living spaces that Nauta Design and Oceanco packed into the design.
