At the refreshments bar located within the mindful lounge space, a daily mix of local fruit-infused elixirs is available for guests to enjoy.

Curated under the expert guidance of Spa by JW Manager, Stacey Leong, the spa menu features an extensive range of signature full spa or express essentials body and skincare treatments that can be tailored to each guest’s needs.

Signature treatments include indulgences such as:

• • an exfoliating massage with the healing properties of the luscious Kaffir Lime and Ginger Salt Scrub – made from locally sourced Bunda Ginger from Bundaberg and paired with Pink Murray River Salt, the scrub is packed with salt minerals to stimulate blood flow and assist with anti-inflammation
  • an immersive Chamomile and Lavender Soak bath experience – promotes restful sleep and a balanced mind to enhance your spa journey
  • the Native Clay Body Mask – imbues a deep sense of relaxation as tension melts away; designed to brighten, nourish and refine the texture of your skin.

As part of Spa by JW, a locally inspired tea service, wine service and thoughtfully crafted food menu curated by JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa’s Executive Chef, Paul Smart will be on offer, combining the indulgence of delectable treats with the blissful relaxation of the spa and promising to deliver an exquisite fusion of flavours and tranquillity.

Choose from four delicious rice paper roll options available for $24, each complementing the spa’s four distinctive benefits:

• • Invigorate: chilli king prawns, avocado, pickled cabbage, rice noodles

Also available is a wellbeing high tea that includes lavender scones, cucumber, caviar and crème fraiche, smoked salmon tartine, sesame bark, citrus aioli, tomato and bocconcini tartine, macadamia chocolate brownie, blueberry cake, mango passion slice, chocolate dipped strawberries, native honey seed nut slice and chocolate rose with hazelnut cream will also be available for $79 per person.

Spa by JW has been masterfully designed by Australian design studio DBI, the building’s original architects and interior designers with an effortless yet sophisticated urban aesthetic inspired by its natural surroundings.

Embodying the beauty and relaxed welcoming mood of coastal Queensland, the spa has been designed with curves, lighting and translucent walls along with natural materials, textures and neutral palettes to create a welcoming flow and backdrop through the space.

Also inspired by the natural beauty of the Hinterland grotto, the Spa by JW’s forms and materials are drawn from the raw, natural-toned textures and shapes unique to the landscape.
